i got an invitation to join MSIG Samurai Sudoku Showdown 2008. but then the registration closes 17 oct 2008. how sad!! today is 19oct!.. lambat 2 ari geng!
ok conts... me and my sis Ema joint tis tournament last year but we were kicked out at the first round for not completing the sudoku which must be completed not more than 10 mins. i remember i was very overconfident that time where my record completing 9X9 sudoku is 3mins ++ and for samurai sudoku 5(9X9) is 47 mins... and at last…. eliminated! bluekk
my first experience joining sudoku tournament was in September 2006 (if im not mistaken la) organized by The News Strait Times. and i was the best 6 out of hundred ++ contestants. ;) im quite epi for tis achievement.. hehe

If you don't already know, the MSIG Samurai Sudoku Showdown is back.
The MSIG Samurai Sudoku Showdown Team hereby invites you, a 2007 Showdown registrant, to another crack at Sudoku.
Yes, we'd love to have you back but take note that this year's Showdown has a few changes...
The categories have changed. These are now: STUDENT (7 - 17 years old), INDIVIDUAL (18 years old and above), SENIOR (55 years old and above) and FAMILY (3 members: children & parents / grandparents)
Winners will be awarded cash prizes for both the Regional and Grand Showdowns. All winners in the STUDENT category will also win cash prizes for their schools: RM2,000 each in the Regional Showdown and RM3,000 each in the Grand Showdown.
Regional Champions in all categories will receive RM1,000 each while the Grand Champions will receive quite a bit more:
STUDENT: RM3,000
INDIVIDUAL: RM8,000
SENIOR: RM5,000
FAMILY: RM9,000
There will be consolation prizes and all Grand Showdown winners will also win an MSIG personal accident plan each.
